Well today's the big day when we start our adventure and it's not starting well. Judy was up at 3:00 AM reading because she couldn't sleep. Nerves maybe? Then when we turned on the news at 5:00 AM we found out there was a major problem on the freeway we were taking to California. Seems someone walking across the 202 was struck and killed so the whole West bound 202 at 24th street is closed until who knows when. We'll have to have the Garmin "RECALCULATE". Then when the weather came on, we hear that a low pressure system moving in from California is creating windy conditions out West. Just what every RV'er likes to here. Wind does not like high profile vehicles. If we hadn't scheduled SRP for a final electric reading, we could stay another day until the problems cleared. But, since we can't, we'll have to adjust. We've learned over the last few years from the classes we've taken and the blogs we've read, while preparing for Full Timing, that these things happen and you make changes to compensate. So plans go forward and we'll leave today for Kevin and Romana's see how far we get. Remember, we'll have our house with us so if need be we can stop and wait out any problems that occur.
