Today is the last day of our work week. It'll be interesting to see how dirty things are. The park is pretty full. The one thing we don't like is doing these bathrooms. People are such slobs especially when they don't have to clean it up and you can almost always count on a plugged toilet. You wonder sometimes what their houses look like. We can never understand why someone would buy an RV with all the facilities of home and then use the park bathrooms when they pay for a full hook up site. Guess they're to lazy to clean up their own messes.
The weather here today is pretty cool and all overcast. Looks and feels like rain and the prediction is 30% chance of rain and T-storms. That's how yesterday started out but turned out pretty nice. It's cloudy now but the clouds come and go here but never drift in and out they just appear and disappear.
We finally got our cable TV working. Our hookup doesn't work so we waited until the space next to us was empty and then hooked a splitter on that cable and ran it to ours. But we can't seem to figure out these channels. Most of what you get here is from NM not CO. That's weird although we're closer to major cities in NM.
One thing we want to do while here is ride the narrow gauge railroad train from Durango to Silverton. We hear and see it everyday chugging past on it's way up the mountain. You can either ride it both ways or take a bus one way and the train the other. Everyone says the train - bus trip is the best because you get to see different scenery each way and it's not quite as long a day. If you ride the train both ways the trip takes about 8-9 hours which make for a very long day.
