It's Sunday and time here in California is flying by. Yesterday on their morning walk, Judy and Dharma stirred up a coyote. He took off and then stopped and looked back at them. He was more interested in Dharma than she was in him. There's lots of wildlife here, which is a surprise to us. We see squirrels and rabbits everyday. We didn't realize this wasn't like AZ. We lounged around most of the morning. In the afternoon, Romana had a jewelry party so Kevin, Christian and I went to Bass Pro Shops and looked around while Judy and the girls were at the party. Kevin and I each bought a dip net that was on special, not real big, but has a wooden frame not plastic or aluminum for $4.00.
The weather here has been real nice sunny and in the 80's during the day and down in the 50's at night. Keven thought we'd be cold at night so he put a space heater in our bedroom but we haven't needed it.
Yesterday I thought it was time to trim Dharma's nails since they were getting pretty long. One wasn't that bad so when I trimmed it, I nicked the quick. Of course it started to bleed and we couldn't get it to stop. We finally had to put a couple band aids, and a rubber glove on it to keep her from bleeding all over. She put up with it pretty good and this AM it's finally stopped bleeding. I hope walking on the pavement doesn't get it started again. Don't know what's on schedule for today yet.
