Thursday was a fun day. We were up early as usual and after Dharma was fed, Judy took her out for their morning walk so Dharma could do her "business". Then we had breakfast with Kevin, Romana, and the kids. After that the kids were off to school. They don't finish for the year until next week. Then Kevin took us for a tour of the Webb School campus. This is an amazing place with a long history. It was founded in 1929 and has progressed from there. It's a private high school and if the students don't live in the immediate area, they are required to stay in the dorms on campus. It has all the typical classes that any other high school has but the one thing different it has is a Paleontology lab and museum that is world famous for it's fossil footprints. Scientists and Paleontologists come from all over the world to see this little science exhibit. It is really amazing. It is also open to the public. It you want to see fossilized dinosaur tracks, most of which were found right here in Southern California, this is the place to come.
Dharma has a new found friend named Shadow. Shadow doesn't know what to make of Dharma, and Dharma just lays there and looks when she gets close. One time they even touched noses while sniffing each other. Shadow is still very cautious of Dharma even though I don't think Dharma will do anything to her. Anyone who knows Dharma knows that she's just a big pussy cat herself. They should get along fine. Don't know what the plan for today is, but Kevin mention something about going up Mt Baldy, the highes mountain peak here in Southern CA. But that's the beauty of retirement. Flexibility!!
