One thing I am learning about retirement is that you tend to loose track of the days of the week. I was suppose to be in charge of the blog yesterday, however, by the time I finished working yesterday, I was too "pooped" to do anything. The cleaning crew that was working here suddenly quit & guess who got elected to take over. Ah, memories of Custom Construction Cleaners came back in a rush. Unfortunately I am now quite a bit order than I was when I was running that business. Every muscle, bone, joint in my body was crying for help by evening. On the up side, I'm getting really good whipping the golf cart around! I didn't do very well today backing up with the trailer on the back. I can't seem to get the concept of turning the steering wheel in the right direction. Bob was working with me & he just "loves" cleaning, so you can imagine how the day went.
Other than that not much happened today. The clouds started to build up over the mountains this afternoon & we were certain that we would get some rain, but they just disappear. It is the strangest thing. You don't see them move & all of a sudden they are gone. We could use a shower or too - not that I want it - but it is very dry here.
Dharma had a better day yesterday & today. I'm hoping that her arthritis is just bothering her & giving her the arthritis medication a little more often will make her feel better. She is such a good girl. I hate to see her having problems.
We have not seen any bears yet, but we did hear that there was one on the road a short distance from the campground the other day. They are still attacking the trash bins almost every night. Bob would like to get a picture of the culprit, but I'm not so sure about that.
