Today our BIG adventure begins. We are headed for ALASKA fulfilling a dream I have had for years! We have stalled as long as we can. Even thought the weather up North is not as good as we would like, we have to get going and at least get closer. We will stop in California to visit Kevin and family for a few days and then head north. Since we have 4 - 5 weeks to get there, we will take our time and not drive too many miles each day so we will not be exhausted when we arrive. We plan on stopping in Quesnel, BC for a few days to visit friends we met while at Meridian RV Resort last year. If we can talk them into it, maybe they will drive to Alaska with us. We have been looking forward to this with anticipation and some reservations but this is a once in a lifetime opportunity and hopefully we will have a great summer. We wish that Dharma could be with us but it was not to be. She will always be in our hearts and memories. She was definitely a “Gentle Giant” and loved by all who knew or met her. We have had a wonderful winter at Superstition Lookout RV Resort. We will miss all the friendly residents here who made us feel at home. We plan to keep the blog current and post many pictures so check it often.
