I just got in trouble with the "blogger boss" for not writing a blog in the last few days, so I'm trying to catch up today. We were off yesterday and made out weekly run into Wal Mart for groceries & to the Diamond Shamrock for gas. Gas has been staying consistent here at $4.02/gal for regular & $4.75/gal for diesel. Bill, one of the workampers here , went to Farmington last week shopping & to pick up diesel because he said it is much cheaper there. Farmington is about 50 miles from here, so it must be worth the trip. I keep forgetting to ask him how much he saved. That was our excitement of the morning.
We had a thunderstorm roll in over the mountains around noon time and a some showers in the afternoon. This was the first rain we have had since we have been here. Just like Arizona, it was just enough to make a little mud on the truck. Dharma was not even bothered by the thunder. That surprised us, because over the past few years she has become very apprehensive when it storms.

Speaking of Dharma, we had made an appointment for her to be seen by the Vet next door to the RV Park. She has been having a little more difficulty tripping, climbing stairs and just generally getting around. She saw Dr. Cohen in the afternoon and he said that she has terrible arthritis in her knees - especially her back legs. He did some lab work, gave her an injection for inflammation and put her on three medications to help alleviate her pain and hopefully, make it a little easier for her to get around. She is going to need her own LARGE pill box - she has to take 5 chewable chondro-flex tabs daily, a liquid pain med and another med for the arthritis. The office staff was very nice and she was a VERY good girl. Dr Cohen said he hopes we will see some improvement in a few days.
Nancy and Kurt are going to be here for a few days and we are looking forward to seeing them. Hope the weather stays good. We have had sunny days for the past 4 weeks, but now that "company is coming", the weather man is predicting thunderstorms and afternoon showers thru the week.
