I guess I better post something. We haven't been doing much the last week except working so there isn't much new to report. One thing you can say about the weather in Colorado this time of year is that it's predictable. Every afternoon now for about the last week and a half, at 2-4 in the afternoon the clouds roll in, the thunder starts and it rains for about 1/2hr to an hour. It's 3:00PM and the rain just started. it's been thundering for about 15 minutes and that's the usual pattern. The temp will usually drop 15° to 20° in a real short time. This is their monsoon season here unlike AZ where monsoon season means lots of blowing dust and just enough rain to make it stick to everything. At least it cleans the air and make everything fresh. It does screw up your truck though.
We've been working more hours than the 3/day 5 day/week we signed up for and Judy has been working even more than that. We're scheduled for 4.5/day but she usually works about 6-7. Can't do all we're responsible for in the time alloted so that means longer hours. I'm not real happy about that. This is supposed to be a part time retirement job. I guess if we do another Workamper job, we'll be sure to get a lot more clarification about the job up front.
Dharma has been acting strange lately. Yesterday she didn't want to walk just stand around and lean on us with her head down. Don't know if she was having more pain in her knees than usual or what. We worry about her because she has really slowed down a lot the last few months. Today she seemed more her normal self. Maybe the dampness is just causing her joints to ache more some days.
