Yesterday was a down day with not a lot of traveling. In the morning we went to WalMart to pick up a few things we needed. Then we went to Assisted Living Facility where Aunt Twink is living for a visit. When we got there we had a pleasant surprise to find cousin Coleen and her granddaughter Kennedy there also. Neither she or Aunt Twink knew who I was until I told them. We had a nice visit for about an hour and a half then it was lunch time for Aunt Twink so we said our goodbyes. Aunt Twink looks really good to me but does have trouble getting around and uses a walker to help her. She is staying in a beautiful facility with a staff that seems to very involve with all the residents. Coleen and Kennedy, apparently visit frequently, because Kennedy is a big hit with all the little ladies. It was wonderful to visit with Coleen and catch up with her and Kennedy and her favorite stuffed animal Cowie.
The rest of the afternoon was spent catching up on chores - we headed to the laundramat so that Judy could do laundry and I sat in the truck trying to get some work done on the computer. We have had terrible luck with the Internet access at Jim and Sharon's - both our cell phone and Internet access has been nil.
Yesterday was Jenna's 11th birthday, so Kim, Luell, Judy and I joined Jenna, Sharon, Jared, and Jim for a Wisconsin bratwurst dinner. The brats we had for dinner were delicious and definitely not anything like the ones we get in Arizona. We may have to try to bring some home with us. Dinner was followed by an awesome ice cream cake that her mom had made. We sat around visiting until about 8:30pm and then head back to the 5th wheel. Of course, we had to give Jim a hard time about the Packers loss to the Bears! Today we're going to Port Washington to visit Donna and Herman and then on to Fond Du Lac to visit Uncle Dave, Aunt Mary, and Pat and Dave Meyer.
