Just in case anyone ever has the urge to buy a home on Cape Cod, I thought I'd let you know a little bit about this little gem across the road from David and Barbara's home. It went on the market over Memorial Day weekend and as far as we know, you may still have time to put a bid on it. It is 3,000 square feet with 4 bedrooms, 3 1/2 baths and a 2 car garage. There is a circular drive to the front of the house, a heated pool in the back yard, a pond and a 6 person Hot Tub. It is on .92 landscaped acres in a nice neighborhood close to the Atlantic Ocean. Are you ready? The asking price is a mere $1,395,000!! Needless to say it is a "tad bit" out of our price range. We had a very quite Memorial Day. Barbara, Cassie and I took Aiden and Conner for a walk in the morning. Aiden practiced riding his new bike and Conner got a ride in the stroller. Later, Barbara and David had friends over for a barbecue in the afternoon and we sat around visiting out on the deck - just enjoying the company and the sunshine. It was a little cooler and a rain storm was predicted for the evening, however, that did not materialize. The Cape Cod area was also under a weather alert for smoke blowing down from a forest fire in Quebec, Canada. There was a little hazy here and it made it a little difficult for David's breathing - unfortunately not one of his better days. We are planning on heading north on Wednesday after a quick stop at the sanitation facility in Orleans to dump our tanks. Barbara is not working today David does not have Chemo this week, so we are hoping to head out for some famous Cape Cod clam chowder for lunch today.
