LOTS TO DO

Time is going fast here at Michelle's. I have been busy hauling dirt to build flower beds, planting perennials, painting, taking care of dogs and fighting off mosquitoes and black flies. There has not been much to write about. We have had rain almost every day since we have been here. Just like Alaska, we have learned to catch up on outside tasks on those rare sunny days. We were blessed with sunny, warm (but humid) days the last couple of days. Robert climbed on the riding mower and I grabbed the push mower and we managed to get the yard all mowed before the next storm hit last night. He managed to find a nice shady spot under the apple tree in the afternoon to relax and watch the traffic go by (totally exhausted from riding the mower) - what a life, while Michelle and I planted annual flowers in pots to decorate her yard. Today is Father's Day - a day of leisure for the old gentleman. We are going to a barbecue this afternoon at friends of Michelle's, otherwise nothing much planned. Weather prediction is for more rain today and every day this coming week except Monday. Got to love the northeast!
