Well here we sit waiting for the Ford dealer in Wasilla, AK to look at the truck and determine why the "Check Engine" light came on again. I put my OBDII code reader on it last night and found every single cylinder has the same error code (Cylinder Injector Circuit Low). The service writer at the dealer says he's never seen them all appear at once. Lucky us - another first. If any of you Ford Diesel wizzards out there know what it is let me know. Maybe it'll get us back on the road faster.

We took a little walk today to kill some time and see what there is to see in Wasilla within walking distance. We understand Sarah lives just down the road a couple miles but until we get 'wheels' we can't find her house and get pictures. They still love her here. There are some very interesting developments around here. I can sometimes understand why they refer to Alaska as "The Last Frontier". Here is a picture of some houses?? for sale. They all come with a 'Dog Sled' on the roof and what appears to be
Modern plumbing!!!!

We also walked past a business that sells logs finished on three sides for building your very own Log Cabin. There was a worker outside skinning logs. The price on the sign said $3850 for a 20' by 24' which doesn't seem too bad. Don't get me wrong. I'm not looking for a Log Cabin in the snow although if it didn't come with 40° below temperatures, I might consider it.

Just got a phone call from the Ford dealer with great news. They found the problem with the truck. It was a bad fuel injector control module. They replaced it, cleared the error codes, and everything checks out A OK so as soon as the shuttle driver comes and gets us, we'll go pick it up and be ready to roll tomorrow AM. Even though we've had more engine troubles with this Ford Diesel than we had with our Dodge Cummins Diesel, both the Ford Dealers (Whitehorse Ford in Whitehorse, The Yukon, and Kendell Ford in Wasilla, AK) have bent over backwards to get us back on the road. Cudos to them for their great service.

Bob and Judy, Glad you got your truck fixed. Hope you have a safe trip south. The Cassiar Hwy has lots of construction the first 70 miles. After that there is a couple of gravel spots not to bad.Stop at Hyder and see the bears. Glen
Hopefully everything will work fine from now on. Looking forward to seeing you in AJ
