OFF TO CALIFORNIA

Last Friday we were off to Claremont, CA to visit Judy's son Kevin and family. We left Queen Creek about 10:00 in order to miss all the rush hour traffic. The trip is about 6 hours so we got there about 4:30, just when everyone there is getting out of school. We were looking forward to seeing them since we hadn't seen them since Christmas time. We were there until Monday when we headed back to AZ for a few days of preparation before we start our trek East for the Summer. Jamie wants to do some Spring camping so we along with his family and Rob's family will be heading to our favorite spot North of Payson on top of the Mogollon Rim near the Blue Ridge Ranger Station for a few days on our way out of Arizona. From there, we'll head East to Maumelle, AR where we want to stop and visit our ex-daughter-in-law Michelle and meet her son David who we've never met. we are getting a little nervous about Arkansas since they've had a lot of Tornado activity there lately and you all know Tornadoes and RV's don't mix. From there we'll go NE to Washington DC where we'll do some sightseeing on our way to NY.
