Today is the first day Judy and I are both officially RETIRED!! It's both exciting and scary. We've been looking forward to this day for a long time. We have a lot to do. Friday we have to take the 5th wheel to Camping World to have the wheel bearings repacked to get them ready for our travel adventures. We've never had it done since we bought the trailer 10 years ago so I guess it's time. We'll take it up there Thursday evening and spend the night in their parking lot since we have an early morning appointment and don't want to have to fight the traffic in the morning. We have to get all the sun screens off and figure out where we're going to put them. Also have to take apart our portable porch steps and figure our how we're going to transport them. We really need them to enable Dharma to get in and out of the trailer easily. She's so clumsy we're afraid she'll slip and break a leg or ankle. At her age an injury like that could be life threating for her. We wonder how well she'll adapt to this traveling lifestyle. She's such a creature of habit. Hope it doesn't upset her too much. She does like to ride in the truck so we'll see how she does.
