I guess it's time we post something here. We've been pretty busy preparing for retirement. There's just so much to do. We have to try to dispose of our stuff we've been storing at Rob's since we came back from NY. Since it doesn't look like we'll buy another house any time soon we need to sell our furniture. We should have done this last winter while it was cooler but you know how that goes.
We've been checking on Workamper jobs for the summer. It's kind of hard because we won't be available until middle of June and most campgrounds in cooler areas want to open in April. Also we only want something for three or four months for our first try and most want six or seven. We had an offer that sounded exactly what we were looking for at a small private family owned resort in northern California. After a week of emailing them back and forth, they all of a sudden became concerned about Dharma. We tried to assure them she would be fine and everyone would love her, but they picked someone else for the job.
About the same time, we got an offer from a campground in Durango, Co. Looks like this will fit in with what we're looking for so we've agreed to go there from June 15 to September 15. That's the three month try we were looking for so we hope it works out. They know about Dharma and have no problem with her. Now we're getting nervous and excited at the same time. It' kind of scary starting a new lifestyle. Their web site is www.durangoriversideresort.com
