Last night we went to Nancy's house for supper with Dad's cousin Don Derivan and his wife Chris. We haven't seen them for about 15 years so it was nice to visit and talk about old times and catch up on family news. They were here for severals days for a quick vacation and to get away from the cold Wisconsin weather. Don is the youngest of all the Derivan cousins. It's always great to visit with family. Too bad it doesn't happen more often. With everyone busy with their own lives and families, we tend to not do things like this and it's especially difficult when everyone lives in different parts of the country. Maybe if our retirement plans work out, we'll be able to do it more often.
Dharma is doing better lately and looks like she's over her latest bout with stomach troubles. Seems like she even has more energy lately, so don't know what her problem was. Maybe, she like us, are just showing the effects of old age.
