We're finally back in Apache Junction. We arrived here about 12:00 PM on Friday the 10th of October. It was nice to get back and see our old friends at Meridian RV Resort although Gary is gone to Utah, Middy is leaving the end of the week ( she bought a house and is selling her 5th wheel), and Vic and Mary will be leaving by the end of the month. They have a new manager here at the park that nobody likes. She's trying to change everything and things that were allowed in the past, she's trying to stop. Some of the long time winter residents had a talk with Grant, the owner, about how unhappy they were with what was happening and told him they might leave. He talked to the new manager and hopefully things will settle down.
We've been pretty busy taking care of things that have been put off all summer like Doctors appointments. Today we went in at 7:30 AM to get our blood work. Next week we'll meet with Dr. Porter to get all caught up. Haven't visited with any kids or grandkids yet except Kelly, Breanna, and Alyson. Went over Sunday to pick up Judy's car which we left over there while we we in Colorado. We stopped and visited with Mom last Saturday for a few hours. It is sure a relief to know she's doing good after her hip replacement.
We're becoming more concerned with Dharma's health. She has been on a lot of pain medication since we went to Colorado but lately she's been having a lot of difficulty walking and keeping her balance. She doesn't seem to have good control of her back end and is doing a lot of stumbling and is very unsure of herself while going up and down stairs. This also means she has difficulty squatting to go to the bathroom. Don't know what's going on with her but it has us very worried. She's an old lady and maybe she's just reached the end of her lifespan. That's something we really don't want to think about.
